This video shows a skateboarder hitting about 60 mph (or 100 kilometers per hour) on an autobahn near Stuttgart, Germany. (Gary Hardwick holds the speed record at 63 mph.) The helmet-cam records a funny low-speed wipeout at the end.ADDENDUM (9/18/09): Der Spiegel identified the skatebaorder as "Sebastion H.", a 31-year old Stuttgart native known in the skating scene as "Bassi." He will almost certainly not be prosecuted for any crime.
