Sure, it's $10 million at auction...but what is it on Amazon?

In 1827, John James Audubon’s book, Birds of America, was published. It’s a huge volume (as you can see!) with 427 illustrations.

And today, a copy of it sold at a London auction for a cool ten mill. What I find almost as amazing as that is that you can see an electronic version of the rare book for free right here!

Of course, it’s not as awesome as the actual book…but when your choices are $10 million or nothing, what’s to argue about?
