Writing in a Bookstore Window, Day II

xxx by Bart King
Yesterday was my second day of writing a novel in a bookstore. I learned that some children found shadow animals more interesting than my sparkling prose. (Philistines!)

Tuesday's tips included one mini-Frisbee, one “nail through the finger” gag toy, and one keychain toy called “MUNCH’N BUNNIES” [sic].

Insert your own "how much is that doggy
in the window" joke here.

Tuesday's tip jar contents were courtesy of Eliza F.!

"Hello, welcome to A Children's Place. No, I'm not Rick Riordan. My name is— hey, where are you going?"
