Writing in a Bookstore Window, Day V

I left my laptop alone for two minutes, only to return and find that my novel had been rewritten . . . for the better!

Friday's take: A bag of peanuts (yes, I work for peanuts) and a note reading, "Here's a tip: Booksellers make excellent characters!"

Tai = One cool kid.

ME: Would you like to know how I wrote The Big Book of Girl Stuff? It's actually a fascinating story, blahblah—
GIRL: Just sign the book, baldy.

So, after a week of writing in a bookstore window, would I ever try to a cheap stunt like this again? Well, here's how I'll be working for the next few months.
