In 1962, Jim Meads took this photo of a crashing jet
prototype (the English Electric Lightning F1) in England. As for the
tractor driver, he's 15-year-old Mick Sutterby. He'd just told the photographer
to move on, because he shouldn’t be so close to the airfield. The pilot landed
in a greenhouse and survived. (The jet wasn’t so lucky.)
